Wedding photographer- Film and Digital
Kimie Irby
My approach blends digital and film to tell your story in a way that feels timeless and true. Digital captures every laugh, tear, and in-between moment with intention, while film adds that dreamy, nostalgic magic you can’t quite replicate. Together, they create a gallery that feels honest, romantic, and like the memories you’ll want to relive for years to come.

My philosophy
Always show up, always be present.

As a recent bride myself, my approach to wedding photography is deeply rooted in empathy. I know what it feels like to spend months dreaming about your wedding day, only to have everything suddenly change.
At the beginning of this year, I was supposed to get married during the Texas ice storm. In an instant, all of the plans, excitement, and expectations I had carefully imagined were turned upside down. We ultimately held a small ceremony at Marty Leonard Chapel, and while it looked different than I had envisioned, it became one of the most meaningful days of my life.
That experience changed me—not only as a bride, but as a photographer.
It reminded me that the most important part of a wedding isn’t a perfect timeline or ideal weather. It’s the people, the promises, the emotions, and the moments that can never be recreated.
Because of that, my philosophy is simple: always show up, always be present.
My wedding photographer did exactly that for me. She showed up with joy, flexibility, and unwavering commitment despite the circumstances, and because of her, I have photographs that tell the story of one of the most important days of my life.
That is the promise I make to every couple I serve. No matter what your wedding day brings, I will be there. I’ll adapt, anticipate, and document every meaningful moment with care so that years from now, you won’t just remember how your day looked—you’ll remember exactly how it felt.
